The hotel has a great location but the car parking is very expensive - you can find much cheaper car parking just behind the hotel in the private car parks (half the price of the hotel carpark). The recpetion staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. The room was very small but the bed was comfy. I had chosen this hotel due to the rooftop onsen but this was much, much smaller than the pictures on the hotel website and did not have the views it promised, so I felt a little bit misled and dissapointed. Otherwise, it was a usual APA standard and I had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was in the small 'restaurant' in the lobby - the food was food was good but there were very limited seats and it was not relaxing to eat with everyone coming and going through the lobby.

From the 31st of December to 2nd of January 2024 I stayed in this hotel. It was an unfortunate time, due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. All I can say is that the staff did an exceptionally good job of making feel us relaxed and safe. Especially Tsue-san helped me and my friend (both of us are foreigners) a lot. I am glad to meet him and the other staff in this hotel. My overall review is very positive, the breakfast was delicious and filling. The rooms were very clean. My room was a bit small but for one person, it was more than enough. The hotel is at the center and within walking distance of tourist attractions (castle, Kenroku-en, samurai district...) and lots of fun bars.

I was there during the 1/1 earthquake and I found the staff and hotel response very commendable. Information was regularly conveyed through the announcement system. Only a few messages were given in both English and Japanese however so if I only spoke English I would have probably been a bit more worried. Overall amenities were good- hotel breakfast was as well.

The location is exactly where I wanted to be, so that was a plus. It was clean and comfortable. Bed was nice. The room was definitely very small, but most rooms in Japan are small, so it didn't bother me as a solo traveller. I only use the hotel to sleep, so it was ok for me. I think besides that, it was good.

The price was reasonable even it was during a big event day; the hotel has hot spring just like other APA hotels and it is the reason why I selected to stay. The location is walkable (between 10 minutes to 30 minutes) to major tour destinations. Good to stay at a reliable hotel before joining a sport activity.
