Another great stay at an APA hotel - they consistently deliver great value, clean, comfortable accommodation with an onsen and this stay was not different. The room was great, the single size bed was perfect for me - I'm average to tall in height. The opening window helps with fresh air and the rooftop onsen (indoor and outdoor plus sauna) was large enough and never felt crowded. All toiletries are provided as well as slippers and a yukata (bath robe) that is great to wear up to the onsen. Breakfast was Japanese style (salad, curry, katsudon gyoza, miso) with some western offerings (sausages, scrambled eggs, fruit, yoghurt, cereal). Nothing in huge portions, which is fine for me. Located right in the heart of Korinbo / Kata Machi with a great little ramen joint next door and lots of wine/sake bars around. You can walk to most places from here or jump on the loop bus across the road.

From the 31st of December to 2nd of January 2024 I stayed in this hotel. It was an unfortunate time, due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. All I can say is that the staff did an exceptionally good job of making feel us relaxed and safe. Especially Tsue-san helped me and my friend (both of us are foreigners) a lot. I am glad to meet him and the other staff in this hotel. My overall review is very positive, the breakfast was delicious and filling. The rooms were very clean. My room was a bit small but for one person, it was more than enough. The hotel is at the center and within walking distance of tourist attractions (castle, Kenroku-en, samurai district...) and lots of fun bars.

I absolutely loved the open air top floor onsen spa!! Locals have memberships, and I spoke with some other retired women while soaking in the lovely mineral bath! I was also able to treat myself to a Shiatsu massage💕 The room itself had wonderful amenities. I especially like the control panel that is located right next to the bed. Everything is efficient, clean, and lovely.

I was there during the 1/1 earthquake and I found the staff and hotel response very commendable. Information was regularly conveyed through the announcement system. Only a few messages were given in both English and Japanese however so if I only spoke English I would have probably been a bit more worried. Overall amenities were good- hotel breakfast was as well.

The rooftop onsen, especially the open-air bath, is a wonderful way to relax after a long day walking around the town. Check-in was easy. Breakfast was decent and I'd recommend to go for - there are very few decent breakfast places in the vicinity and those which were open served pretty much the same for the same price.
